My Dog chewed the power cord to my sump pump
I have a nice little sump pump that I rarely use but it comes in handy every couple of years or so. My dog chewed the cord (puppies!) and I thought that I was going to have to make a trip to buy a new pump. I really didn't want to have to spend $100+ bucks on a new sump pump that sits on the shelf for all but once every few years so I "googled" the parts number and this site came up.
I was hesitant to purchase the cord here because I was worried that I might be out another $20 if the cord didn't work but I went ahead and ordered it and it was exactly as described and the pump fired right up. For less than $20 and with super quick shipping, I have saved my old pump that is made in the U.S.A.!

Removed broken cord from pump by unscrewing hand bracket. Unplugged old cord. Plugged in new cord. Replaced hand bracket.

Dog chewed the power cord two inches away from the pump.
Unscrewed the T-Nut, removed the cord/molded grommet and installed the new cord/molded grommet.

Unscrewed retaining nut, removed broken plug, put in new one and secured with retaining nut

The wires broke right at the pump connection.
Unscrewed the old electric cord right at the pump using the easy to turn threaded connector.
Removed the old electric cord from the pump.
Inserted the new electric cord ( it only goes in one way, so you can't make a mistake)
Tightened the new electric cord into the pump with the easy to turn threaded connector.
JOB COMPLETE -EASY!!!.

Removed the remains of the old cord. Plugged in and secured the new cord. No tools needed.

power cord brittle and broke off inside top.
even though the part # was supposed to fit the plug end was to big. will have to cut the diameter down before the connections will reach contact stem. it is to thick but is hard rubber or plastic and can be trimmed down. also the threaded connector is to big also so the threads don't go in. might take a while but will make it work. still a lot cheaper than getting new pump. Al
