Deep Fryer: Controls or Buttons Don't Work Right

Knobs
The knobs are pushed onto a post on your deep fryer that controls the temperature and timer. The knobs can become damaged in a way that they only spin on the post and don’t engage and move to a different setting, meaning your fryer will not respond to commands. Check the knob to see if it is damaged or just misaligned. Replacing a damaged knob is easy, you can slide the new one onto the existing post, making sure to line up the knob opening with the post.

Most deep fryers have a breakaway cord which connects to the deep fryer magnetically. Replacing the cord is easy as a universal deep fryer cord will simply connect to your deep fryer.
