Protective rubber on rear of Makita cordless drill became worn and detached.
Super simple repair. The protective rubber on the rear of the motor housing on my Makita drill had taken a beating. It was detaching itself and flapping around. The replacement part comes with the protective rubber fully attached. Two phillips head screws to remove and replace the rear cover.
