Saw blade shield broke
1) I took the blade off using the wrench that come with the machine.
2) Removed two screws from the nut that holds the guard in place and removed the nut.
3) Removed the old shield or guard.
4) Reversed the process until everything was back together.
Very easy to do!

Safety shield and insert broke after a kickback
1. Took off molded casings with screwdriver
2. Removed remaining portion of shield
3. Placed new spring and shield in place
4. Tested movement
5. Put moldings back on
6. Replaced inserts (screws on/off)
That was it!

I had pushed the cover into the saw blade, causing it to hang up on material.
Removed the old cover by removing two screws. Then removed the blade. Detached the spring, removed old cover. Reversed process.
