Question: Pressure Gauge (#208)

How difficult is it to replace this part?
Reply: Pressure Gauge (#208)

It's not that bad, just requires patience and a few tools.

1. remove back plate with tork driver and screw driver.
2. slide the top plate forward (you may have to loosen one of the top screws), being careful of the attached ground wire that you'll have to unscrew in order to fully remove the top plate.
3. remove the screws holding in hot water wand and feed it up through, smashing the rubber finger grip, and lay it aside.
4. remove the wires on top of boiler
5. remove the 3 tubes going into the boiler
6. loosen the boiler and group head, and then carefully lay the boiler to the right side
7. remove the pin and tube going into the pressure gauge
8. using a wrench, loosen the bolt holding the pressure gauge in place
9. replace and put back together

Simpler/faster method with less disassembly:
1) remove the two top Torx screws on the back cover
2) slide the top cover towards the front (you may have to whack it a little the first time)
3) unscrew the ground strap from the top cover
4) remove the the two screws holding the front/button panel (at the bottom of the front panel's rear side)
5) remove the two screws holding the left side of the body to the rest of the body
6) with your fingers, pry apart the left side from the front/button panel just enough so that you can remove the front panel
7) remove the gauge tube\'s clip, tube, tube connector, nut, lock washer, and gauge
8) reassemble in reverse order.
