The pressure relief valve was received promptly. I am having a repair shop install it and it will be approx 10 days before it will be ready.

    Could and should be better
I have ordered parts from these folks before without incident. However, in my recent attempt to fix my pressure washer the experience was awful. First, I call tech service and was told we aren't techs and can't answer the question. Secondly, I received the wrong part twice. Found out eventually from Karcher that there were multiple models of pumps used on my pressure washer. There was no serial number break on the parts list. I advised a second person at ER that the drawing was wrong (Actually, there should be multiple drawings) but the person did not seem to care or perhaps did not understand. I eventually bought an after market pump. Cheaper and faster than getting the parts. The tech videos are very helpful. Just wish there was a knowledgeable person that answered the phone.

Questions & Answers for Valve (3 St Ck)

What is the tool used to remove the seats? I have been unable to remove them.
Rick for model number G2650OH asked on 2023-12-01
Hi Rick, Thank you for your question. You would use a pair of pliers to remove the seats. Here is a link to one of our YouTube videos that you may reference for information on how to remove and install the seats, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIidzDyJwTM&t=210s. The pump in the video may not be the same as yours, but it will give you a general idea on how to remove and install them. We hope this helps!

Check valves needed to be replaced due to wear and weak springs in existing checkvales

I removed the pressure washer from the motor housing and then disassembled the pressure washer to remove the existing check valves. I replaced them with the new ones I purchased, reassembled the pump, and then reattached the pump to the motor housing. There was nothing too difficult about the job, just time consuming getting all the parts back together.
The pressure washer is working, though I am getting some pulsing which may be due to a faulty relief valve on the pressure washer. I will look into this further, and may replace that as well.
The schematic for the pressure washer which I found on line was very helpful in getting all parts reassembled properly. I would definitely recommend having that handy when you work on the pump.

I followed the instructional video for my model of pressure washer step by step and the repair went very easily. I removed the pump from the drive shaft and took it apart, removed all of the parts that needed to be replaced, cleaned the pump housing parts, put in the new parts, filled it with new pump oil, reassembled the pump and connected it to the power shaft.

    It now runs like new.

I found the instructional video a great help and couldn't have done it in the short time it took.

Pressure washer pressure pulsing very fast with high pressure

    William - August 22, 2017
👍 2 of 3 people found this instruction helpful
    1. Purchased all most likely parts likely to cause problem: valves, seals & springs.
    2. Disassembled pump. No oil in wobble plate housing - only some water. (Probably piston seal?)
    3. Cleaned housings, reused parts with carb cleaner. Added 15-40w oil. Reassembled & installed.
    4. Works better than when I bought it, (was rebuilt unit.)
    5. I found seals a little tricky to install as they are flared out & you'll probably try to use a screwdriver to install - careful, easy to damage seal.
6.Also, check the spill valve before you remove pump - it can cause erratic (as well as low) pressure.

I rebuilt the pump with the parts you suggested. Be careful with Karcher pumps. If you replace the nozzles with standard big box store nozzles they can cause this surging. That is what I recently did. Make sure you have the correct capacity nozzles before you rebuild a pump.
