Remove the bowl from the vacuum and remove the filters. Install the prefilter first then the secondary filter. Replace the bowl and your done.

The replacement was per the manual. The parts were not available at my local hardware store and I was glad to be able to get them through ereplacement. The website for ordering was easy to use and navigate. The diagram of the vaccuum indicating the various parts made it easy to pick out what to order. A real plus as many websites are hard use. .

Although the filter is still usable, it was getting dirty, and it was old and hard to get really clean.

Blow out the vacuum with compressed air
Install both filters
Replace the bowl
