Only issue is you will need star sockets to take off screws. Once the screws are removed, just pry off the back, remove the two screws holding the power cord and unplug from the unit. Replace with new cord and reverse process.

Which replacement cord do I need for this model? I do not see further letters/numbers on the base of of the iron (besides DW8080). (The cord can be wiggled to get the light to come on, so I assume the cord should be replaced.)Thank you.
