kitchen sink faucet handle not working properly
The most difficult part of this repair was finding the right part for a Moen faucet without a model number. Fortunately, erepairparts.com uses pictures with the part numbers and I was able to find the part that I believed would work.
Replacement required removing the cover over the handle pivot and faucet cartridge and removing the phillips screw that held the handle in place. It was then necessary to unscrew the cap that holds the retainer in place. After removing the broken pieces of the old pivot retainer the new retainer fit perfectly into place. Replaced the screw cap (tightened by hand only) and replaced the faucet handle. 10 minutes start to finish.
