Product Information

Description:

This is an authentic NordicTrack replacement part, which is sold individually. The pedal arm sleeve slides over the crank arm, and allows the pedal arm to attach to it, providing movement. Pedal arm sleeve can be removed by unlatching the pedal arm, then removing the patch screw that holds it in place. Allen wrench required.

Loosened bolt and removed old sleeve. Replaced with new sleeve and tightened.

Broken parts

Replaced sleeve & cover and it is working very well. I do need to order some additional parts as soon as I do an overall check to see if additional parts are worn/needed.

Parts were worn out from much use(hour every day) since late 2011

My son had it fixed when I got home, however I was planning on doing it myself. Just remove the old arm sleeve, replace with the new one and apply the new large axle cover and tighten with allen wrench. It was a no brainer. I was impressed with the ease of ordering, the low shipping price and the fact that ereplacement parts had the exact book for my elliptical from Nordic track. I knew exactly the parts that I needed. I tried ordering on line and on the phone with the Nordic track company and it was a huge fiasco. My credit card wouldn't go through and I couldn't get anyone on the phone! Plus they were going to rake me over the coals with the shipping price! Thanks so much, because I need my elliptical!

Screwdriver, Allen Wrench

Axle sleeve and cover wore out and broke.

1. Use Allen wrench to remove the bolt holding the broken axle sleeve and cover.
2. Use a screwdriver to push out bearings from the old axle sleeve. You may be able just to use a finger to pull them out.
3. Put the usable original bearings in new axle sleeve then put on the axle.
4. Place large axle cover over axle sleeve and secure it with the Allen bolt and wrench.
5. Repeat for other side.

Elliptical drive arm bushing and retaining cap broke.

Removed the retaining bolt, the cap and the bushing. Replaced with the new parts.

Removed rear cover
Removed broken sleeve with allen wrench
Slid broken part off
Installed new part and returned cover to original location
15 minute repair
