The bold going through the lock out assembly sheared off allowing the axle to walk out and disable the drive.
To repair :
1 - put machine on blocks to get drive wheels off the ground. Secure so it does not move.
2 - Remove the 4 bolts holding the left wheel on the axle.
3 - Use the hammer and punch to remov
... Read moree what is left of sheared bolt.
4 - Slide axle off drive wheel. Clean splines with solvent. Grease splines and insert axle back in.
5 - Use oil to lube lockout. I really soaked the part since the plunger on mine seized awhile ago.
6 - Slide lockout on shaft, slide bolt through lock out and shaft. Tighten nut/bolt. DO NOT over tighten. Suggested assembly torque is 12ft/lbs for grade 8 bolt. I tightened mine to 8. This bolt only holds the lock out in place so don\'t over do the torque.
7 - Tested blower and all works fine.
Good Luck!
