This ball bearing for my Dewalt circular saw was ordered along with an accompanying O-ring at the end of April. After three weeks of patience testing waiting, it became apparent that the O-ring was unavailable (likely never be procured from your supplier) and holding my order in limbo. So I cancelled the O-ring component of the order and then, after less than a week later, the long awaited ball bearing arrived. Hallelujah! It was installed without a hitch and my Dewalt saw is now running like a factory fresh newbie. I well understand we are now in a changed world of higher priced everything and longer delivery times. But with my recent order with you folks, I think you could have done much better with honestly informing me of the status of that O-ring. Something like, "We regret to inform you, Mr. KH, that the O-ring you ordered had to be backordered and likely won't be available for at least two months", was certainly warranted and would have been much appreciated! Why leave the customer hanging in the dark? I say you can easily do better on the order status communication front! Proof of your ability to provide quality service comes with the surely dozens of videos you have expertly produced, clearly showing in concise detail how to take apart a given power tool and replace a defective part within. Excellent job! Now if you could just apply that expertise to providing a complete and truthful forecast (with updates as needed) of an order's likely arrival date (no matter how embarrassing and long the predicted wait!), you folks will be right as rain!
