Cord brittle

Removed the handle half from the drill. Then removed the cord clamp. Removed the cord wires from the switch and removed the old cord. Then slid off the cord relief from the old cord and put it on the new cord. The installed the wires from the new cord into the switch, replaced the cord clamp, and installed the handle half.

Unscrewed the housing.
Remove the switch.
Disconnect the wires from the switch.
Remove and replace the brushes.
Put new fittings on the cord and attach to the switch.
Reposition the switch.
Reposition the housing and replace the screws.

Cord and strain boot perished/cracked

Pretty simple two wire hook up. Did make one run to hardware store for a quick disconnect \"flag\" terminal (for white wire ) attachment and a \"cap style\" butt connector for black wire splice...I had used. Dremel tool with a small cut off whee/zingerl to slice/cut through old plastic cap style butt connector for black wire, rather th an cut it shorter and make it easier to reconnect in its original length. Web site parts are excellent o.e.m. quality and should last another 20 year\'s!

I removed the trigger switch and replaced the cord and circle protector. It was a simple repair.

After plastic jig saw covers removed.
Installed new cord & strain boot and used two electrical butt connectors to splice in New cord.
Fit perfectly just like the original, would definitely buy from this web site again

Cracked cord

Remove the motor housing cover, remove the cord wires from the switch, and remove the old cord. Slide the cord protector from the old cord and put it on the new cord. Cut the wires to length to match up with the switch wires and connect them. I used butt connectors. Then replaced the motor cover.
