?This is a genuine ball bearing manufactured for Milwaukee. It is compatible with many types of power tools including Sawzalls, drills, rotary hammers, and grinders. Ball bearings are made to reduce friction between moving parts. They are a high wear part which may need to be replaced relatively frequently. This piece is sold individually.

Hi Bruce, Thank you for your question. We have included a link to one of our YouTube videos that you may reference on how to install the gear, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhH_onrjz1k. The saw in the video may appear different from yours, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. You will likely need the IPS gear, part number 32-40-2101, the bearing 02-04-0911, the fan from the armature assembly, part number 22-84-0531, and possibly the armature assembly, part number 16-30-0565. The video should provide more information on what other parts you may need. If you need the armature assembly, it has been discontinued and you will need to contact Milwaukee for information on a replacement. If they provide you with a part number for a replacement armature assembly, you may call us back with it and we will verify if we have it available for you. If you have any questions, please let us know.

2. Washed/degreased the gear drive and the motor with a solvent.
3. Used a bearing puller to remove the bearings from the motor axle.
4. Greased the gears.
5. Replaced the motor brushes.
6. Used a hand press to install the new bearings.
7. Assembled the drill hosing.
Bearings were worn out causing the sander to run slowly rough.

4. Remove and replace the bearings on each end of the armature.
