This is an OEM replacement part for pruners and trimmers made by Ryobi and Homelite. The oil pinion gear & plunger go next to the oil pump seal assembly. When replacing this part a screwdriver, a set of pliers, and a socket set might all be required during the installation process. It may become broken and will need to be replaced. This part is available as an individual replacement and is made out of metal and plastic.
