Removed the center screw from the old worn pad, then removed the pad. I then installed the new pad with the screw that I removed from the old.

Took old pad of ! Put new one in place and tightened the allen screw .

Replaced the old sander pad with the new one. Only a single screw using an allen head was needed for the repair. Super easy.

Used an allen wrench to remove the bolt holding the pad on. The bolt had been sealed with loctite to prevent it from vibrating lose, so I had to use a hammer to strike the allen wrench to initiate the bolt breaking lose. Also placed the sander in my vice to hold it securely while replacing the pad. I placed medium strength loctite on the ... Read more
