This is an authentic item that is supplied directly from the original manufacturer for Hitachi staplers and nailers. The lock lever is on top of the spring pin, which covers the front of the magazine. If you unlock the lever, you will notice that is will pull up the spring pin, so you can remove the staple jam, if there is one. This part is made of metal and sold individually.
