The piston fits between the valve case and the cylinder. This is an OEM Chicago Pneumatic part directly sourced from the manufacturer for use in air hammers. This item is sold individually and is made out of metal. You may need a set of pliers when replacing this part. It will need to be replaced if it becomes broken.
