Genuine OEM sourced replacement part used on a variety of power tools. Ball bearings are used to reduce friction between rotating parts. Bearings experience constant wear when the tool is in operation, because of this they need to be periodically checked and replaced if needed. This part is made out of metal and it is sold individually. Included in part number 381004-00 spindle assembly.

I used a special bearing seperator that I found at harbor freight, MADDOX BEARING SEPERATOR, because the space to seperate the bearing from the shaft is tight and all that was left of my bearing was the rase, this tool worked perfect. Take note of the bearing position on the shaft as it is critical for proper reinstallation. The electric bushings need to be moved out of the way to allow the bearing to fit in it\'s seat. Be sure the shaft that operates the on/off switch is installed allowing it to push the button on the switch.
Add the grease to the gears, not the armature.
Reassemble the two halves paying close attention to the wires.
