?

This Milwaukee Quik-Lok® cord is a genuine OEM replacement part, it is sold individually. This is a three wire grounded 8 foot cord for fast field replacement of a damaged cord. Made of premium grade Hi-Flex wire the cord is quickly removed and attached to Milwaukee tools with the Quik-Lok® cord feature. To change a damaged cord simply turn the collar at the top of the cord counter clockwise to loosen the nut and pull down on the cord to remove. To re-attach a new cord, line up the pins in the end of the tool with the pin receptacles in the end of the cord, push together and turn the collar clockwise to lock in place. It's a old power cord that plugs into the end. I'm not sure if this is the model number because the second number was rubbed off. But if the older ones use the same cord then I'm good , right ? The serial number is 7748396102538 . Thanks

Just make sure you take the time to research the exact model and serial number and the installation is a breeze. Just twist the old one off and twist the new one on. Have used ereplacementparts before and they ship quick. Am amazed that they have parts for my old tools.
Keep up the good work!!

Original switch broken

A Bit Difficult
Total Repair Time:

Tools:
Pliers, Screw drivers
Parts Used:
48-76-4008, 23-66-1666
1. Bought switch & replacement cord
2. Found online video for switch replacement for my drill
3. Removed old switch & installed new switch with video assist for switch wiring.
4. Installed new cord (twist-lock cord)

The switch wiring was the only part of the repair which required research. Even the video was not 100% accurate for my drill, but I was able to figure it out. Some switches come with installation diagrams, I recommend acquiring a diagram with the switch.

Make sure the drill goes back together properly, or the switch trigger may bind.
