Product Description

?

This is a genuine Milwaukee part, it is sold individually. The chuck is the top portion of the drill that holds the different drill bits. It is compatible with a variety of drills listed below. If your drill's bit retention is suffering, the rotation feels stiff, or the chuck has seized up entirely, a new chuck should fix the problem. This chuck is made of metal. To install this chuck, thread the new chuck assembly onto the spindle. Secure the chuck assembly as tightly as possible( by hand). Open the chuck to accept the retaining screw. Install the retaining screw and secure the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. The screw is reverse-threaded ( requiring counterclockwise rotation to secure.

use slim wrench to hold shaft between chuck and body. channel locks hold chuck while unscrewing chuck from shaft, do not need a lot of pressure to remove, installing the new chuck is just a matter screwing new chuck on shaft and tightening, also does not need heavy prwssure.
