Removed the drill chuck, the spindle retaining ring, the broken spindle, the bearing and the woodruff key. Replaced all parts with the new and reassembled.

Take the spindle housing off of drill. Remove chuck from broken spindle, remove left hand screw first then chuck. Remove retaining clip with screwdriver. Remove spindle. Place spindle in arbor press and separate from bearing. Replace new spindle in reverse order. Screw on chuck and replace screw inside of chuck (left hand thread).

Removed old broken parts and then used a bearing puller to remove gear and bearing. Then used bearing puller to pull bearing and gear on to new shaft. put all the parts back in housing and put on retaining ring. Tested and ready to go.
