Broken brush case. Worn out cord and guard.

1. Opened the drill case (handle) and cleaned out the collected dirt etc.
2. Disconnected the wires from the brushes.
3. Removed the brushes.
4 .Freed up the power cable from the switch (small screwdriver).
5. Soldered the ends of the new power cord and inserted into the switch.

Removed old motor brushes using screwdriver and pick.
Checked and cleaned commutator.
Reassembled drill and installed new motor brushes.
Drill now operates normally.
Replaced missing onboard chuck key.

1. Removed the drill handel side cover to access the electrical connections.
2. Disconnected and removed the cord and cord guard.
3. Assembled and installed the cord and cord guard.
4. Shortened the new cord black and white wires. Stripped the wire ends. Connected the white wires with closed end splice connectors. Re peated the same with the black wires.
5. Tucked the black and white wires into the handle.
6. Installed the side handle cover.
7. Tested the drill for proper operation.
