Removed the handle assembly. Then the cord clamp. Removed the old cord wires from the switch. You may want to trim the new cord wires to the correct length needed. I then place the cord protector on the new cord and connected the wires to to the switch, and replaced cord clamp. When assembling the handle assembly, make sure no wires are going to be pinched. Then assemble housing. Done.

Remove the three screws that go through the side of the handle and two screws that attach the removable side of the handle to the motor housing. Separate the handle. Cut the wires from the motor and power cord close to the switch leaving as much wire to work with as possible. Remove the screw holding the switch to the grinder housing a nd remove the switch. Strip about 3/8 inch of the insulation from the end of the motor wires and with the screws provided, attach to the lugs on the switch labeled \"Field\" (per instructions included with the new switch) and similarly attach the power cord wires to the \"Cord Lead\" lugs on the switch. Secure the new switch into the housing replacing its screw. Tuck the wires into the appropriate cavities and reattach the handle.
