Disassembled saw.
Removed broken gear shaft and helical gear
Cleaned all parts
Greased all parts
Placed new parts in
Reassembled and tested

I removed the screws that held the saw together, pulled the two haves apart and removed the broken gears and replaced them. It only took approximately 20 minutes from start to finish.
