Questions & Answers for 5 Pad Holes

What is PSA? I have this sander and need to replace the sticky paper disc. I don't think the Hook and Loop is what I'm looking for. I'm having trouble finding the right disc.
Joe for model number 334 5 Random Orbit Sander asked on 2024-01-16
PSA or "pressure-sensitive adhesive" is that sticky sort of sandpaper. The sandpaper has an adhesive coating, a bit like a sticker that adheres to the pad. You can peel the label off the sandpaper, stick it onto the pad using it. The 5 Pad Holes 876691 is the correct pad. Good luck with this repair.

Need a new PSA pad. The one I have does not have holes which pad should I order
Larry for model number 332 t2 asked on 2024-01-05
Hello Larry, Thank you for writing. The Original pad has been discontinued and replaced with Part Number: 876691. We hope this helps!

How does the sand paper stay on the replacement pad?
    MARK asked on 2023-04-20
Hi Mark, Thank you for your question. The abrasive disc should adhere to the pad. According to your owner's manual, position the hook and loop abrasive disc onto sander pad, aligning the dust extraction holes in the paper with the holes on the pad. When using an 8-hole abrasive disc on model 333VS, align the hole pattern in the abrasive with the groove in the sander pad. Press the disc firmly onto the pad. To remove the abrasive disc, peel it from the pad. We hope this helps!

    Is this replacement pad rubber?
Fred for model number 334 asked on 2023-03-08
Hello Fred, Thank you for the question. The Pad with 5 holes are made of Rubber. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!
