Pulled front off generator replace receptacle and reinstall front panel.

I removed the smallest panel first but couldn't replace the receptacle, removed end panel of generator to reach rear of receptacle. removed nuts & wires.

Remove large panel of generator, remove nuts holding receptacle, loosen screws hold wires one at a time, attach wires to replacement part, reattach to panel, at tech panel back to generator, check for proper wiring. Tighten a panel screws.

Outlet cover needed to be replaced,front of cover was broke off.while I had it apart I went ahead and replaced the duplex receptical.

On my Ryobi inverter Generator.1800/2200Removed 4 screws from the front of the Generator,pulled the cover back so I could get too the device and cover,took a picture of the device with my phone and rubber cover and then removed the old cover and device,then replaced it with the new ! Worked like it was supposed to,Generator works great again !!!

The stop/start/run lever broke in transit. Outlet cover blew away.

1. Removed approx 16 phillips screws to loosen case and control panel.
2. Lift case only far enough to access screw holding lever and remove.
3. Lift lever off shaft, being careful of delicate kill switch at base of lever.
4. Remove 2 screws holding outlet to control panel.
5. Remove rubber cover.
6. Reverse steps to assemble.

Duplex receptacle cracked and cover was torn

Screwdriver, Pliers, Torx bits for screwdriver

1. Removed generator face plate (torx head screws)
2. Removed 2 screws holding receptacle in place (phillips)
3. Disconnected wires from old receptacle
4. Connected wires to new receptacle
5. Fit new outlet cover in place (rubber cover with gasket)
6. Secured new receptacle in place
7. Reattach generator face plate

Bought used, previous owner dropped and broke the casing and handle

Simply by removing the case screws holding the side panels together, unbolting the handles, unscrewing the end covers and replacing in reverse order.
