Hog Ring - 608114-00
Repair Difficulty:
Medium

Less than 15 minutes
Tools Used:
, Needed a tool to support the ring during instation
Clip failed
Installed the o-ring into the groove.
Placed the clip on a flat surface that i predrilled and counter bored to hold the clip.
Pressed down and the clip slipped into place.
Clip seems a little small on diameter. Sockets fall off easily only harbor frieght sockets actually work.
Tool fixed. Clips not right. Probably will throw the clip shaft out and replace it with a spring / ball for 38 bucks.

Sockets wouldn't stay on.
Slowly pried off the old hog ring with a couple of pick tools and fitted the new o ring and then slid the new hog ring on. Prying off the old part took longer than the installation because is was difficult to get a grip on it. It mostly spun around but after several attempts it came off. Now it works as new .
