This is a Manufacturer Approved replacement Oil Dipstick designed for use with Hitachi Air Compressors. This item helps you to check your Oil Levels. It is made out of Plastic and it is Sold Individually. This Dipstick includes a Rubber O-Ring.

No tools are required to replace. Simply insert the new dipstick into the opening.

    Connecting rod welded itself to the crankshaft

    Screwdriver, Socket set, Wrench Set, Emery cloth

    I removed the entire cylinder by removing the two nuts at the base of the cylinder. Then I removed the aluminum that was stuck to the crankshaft with the emery cloth. While I had the cylinder off, I changed the piston rings. It isn't necessary to take the head off the cylinder, which involves re-gasketing the reed valves.
