This repair kit has been OEM sourced to ensure quality and is intended to be used with trimmers from MTD, Ryobi, Troy-Bilt, Bolens, Yard-Man, and Yard Machines. Overtime gasoline additives can leave deposits in the fuel passageways. The deposits can clog the carburetor and deteriorate soft components like the diaphragm. A clogged or worn out carburetor can cause issues with air/fuel reaching the cylinder and this can affect the engine's performance. If this should occur the carburetor can be cleaned out and rebuilt. This kit includes all the recommended parts to be replaced when rebuilding the carburetor.
