This is an Original OEM replacement part designed for use with Porter Cable Nailer. This part is made out of Plastic and it is Sold Individually. The Nose Cap is attached to end of the Safety Element to prevent the material that it is being used on from getting marred or dented by the pushing lever. It is a advisable to have one or two extra on hand as they do have a tendency to crack and deteriorate over time or simply get lost.
To replace this item you do not need any tools, simply slide it on the Safety Elements end.

Jam in nail tray caused several parts to become disengaged

Nose cushions were broken on nailer and stapler. Took me more time to open up the bags then to put the nose cushions on and oil. Around 5 minutes total on both

Removed trigger and trigger valve assembly by driving out the roll pins holding them in place. Pulled old trigger assembly and installed new one. Installed trigger and pins.
