2. With the old and new mower decks placed side by side, removed components one at a time from old deck and installed on new the deck before removing next part.
3. Top spindle nuts are 7/8 inch diameter nuts. I did not have this impact socket so I had to buy one to fit my 1/2 inch drive air wrench. A pulley puller is good to have to remove the pulleys from the spindles. Mower blades to not have to be removed to take the spindle off of the old mower deck or to install on the new mower deck.
4. The cable is attached to the deck by a push through plastic part. Squeeze the wing of this part with a pair of needle nose pliers, while using a punch to push the plastic holder back through the housing mounting point.
5. When installing the idler pulleys / springs, can must be taken to ensure that these components are free to rotate (i.e., make sure these parts are aligned correctly, so the springs are able to move the part to which it is attached).
