Unplugged fan
Removed fan assembly from ceiling
Removed squirrel cage and motor from assembly
Removed squirrel cage from motor shaft
Replaced new motor
Slid squirrel cage onto new motor shaft and reinstalled in fan assembly.
Adjusted squirrel cage and tightened onto shaft where it was spinning without rubbing assembly.
Reinstalled assembly and plugged power back together
