First I didn't think I could find the replacement part, but after some searching I found it and all the brackets and replacement fan. I assembled the motor and fan to the bracket and installed it in place with two screws. I plugged it in and turned it on, bang! Installed the new grill and walked away.

What we have done is order a replacement motor for the bathroom fan that we already have in place. Instead of having to replace EVERYTHING my husband only has to replace the motor and the little stop tabs that stop the flaps. A lot less work and a much quicker fix. Less expensive than replacing the entire unit.

I pulled off the old window crank using a screwdriver to push out the keeper pin. The new window crank 508-A B fit right on the shaft when tested for fit and I positioned the keeper on the crank, pushed it onto the shaft and pushed the keeper down with the screwdriver. It works good and dosen't fall off.
