This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement component which is specially designed for use with Lawn Boy and Toro lawn mowers. The ignition module also known as armature-magneto provides the current for the ignition system by producing pulses of high voltage for the spark plug. While there are various reasons for ignition module failure, the primary symptoms usually manifest in the form of extreme difficulty starting your equipment, and eventually, a no-start condition. It is made of high-quality metal with a rubber insulated wire and it is sold individually, please note it includes the spark plug boot.

Parts Used
Remove pull starter/fan shroud. Remove magneto. Install new magneto and set gap with a standard business card between flywheel magnets and the magneto . Re-assembled. Mower started on the second pull!

Removed engine cover. Removed old coil. Installed new coil, set gap between coil and flywheel with one dollar bill. Reinstalled engine cover.
