Product Information

Description:

This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Kohler small engines. The ignition module creates and electric charges as the magnet on the flywheel passes, the charge is sent to the spark plug to ignite the air/fuel mix in the combustion chamber. A faulty ignition module will likely prohibit the engine from starting while the motor maintains compression. This ignition module is available as an individual replacement part.

1 Removed starter cover and shroud.
2 Removed old ignition coil.
3 Installed new coil.
4 Replaced starter cover and shroud.
5 Started engine.
