The purpose of the Mesh Filter Basket is to shred the food material that is put in the Juicer.
By spinning at a high rate of speed it will force the juice from the shredded food material and the remaining food particles will be forced to the outer wall, to be cleaned out.

How to unclog the filter.

Thank you for your question. To unclog the mesh filter, soak it in a solution of water and vinegar for a few hours. Then use a toothbrush or cleaning brush to scrub it.
