1. Took tool apart for inspection , cleaning and repair
2. Trimmed to fit and tinned ends for reinstall
3. Inspected repairs and reassembled heat gun
4. Plugged tool in , run great

Fixed the problem
Good quality parts. Router works now. The only problem I have encountered with Bosch cord replacements has been finding the right size flag terminals that are required. Removing and reusing the original terminals isn't always possible as they are sometimes soldered on.
