Original Burner tubes rusted out and would cause flare-ups where they were cracked.
Removed the old main burner by pulling it forward then up. It was very easy. I cleaned the area, and reversed the process, very simple, even i could do it. The new tubes, I ordered two although the grill has 3. I kept one that was in decent shape and replaced the 2 left ones where most of my cooking occurs. Quality of the new burners was stainless steel and awesome, for a perfect fit and far superior from the ones that came with this grill. Napoleon Grill was 8 years old.

Installation of new manifold and burners due to wear.
I first disconnected the supply flex line/ hose from tank to the manifold and took old burners out. Removed control knobs and bezels behind all knobs. This, in turn, freed the manifold from the control panel. Removed control panel containing manifold. Install new manifold.

Issues; phillips head screws are possibly stainless steel and the interface of the screwdriver with screw head can be galled/ damaged.
Solution; get the screws off with vice grips. There are like screws (grade 8) on the old manifold. These screws will match threads.
Issue; new manifold was slightly bent, this was discovered during installation. The box was damaged, so it can be surmised that it was bent in shipping
Solution; gently, but forcefully apply screws attaching manifold to the back of the control panel starting at one end working across minimizing stress to the manifold tube.

Main burners were rusted and the holes were worn out
I replaced all three burners since the holes were open and there was flame just at the back of the grill.
The only difficult part was removing the old burners. They are held in by one screw, but that screw was also rusted and not stainless.
I got one out, broke off one and had to drill out the third.
For the broken one, I had to drill a new hole.
Also had to find my own replacement screws.

Hello Peddlerman2001,

I can't tell you if it is stainless steel or not, but it looks like it is to me. If you want to order to get it here before Christmas, the sooner the better.
