    Remove Blade
    Remove Guard and Spring Assembly
    Install Spring Assembly in New Guard
    Install Guard and Spring (one end of the spring is retained by a small hole in the saw housing)

    Screwdriver, 5mm allen

    Take the blade off and remove the inner washer to get to the 4 bolts holding the guard on. I think I used a number 1 screw driver to remove the 4 screws, then the guard comes right out. Installing the new one is easy, goes in the same way. Just hook the spring before seating it over the bearing.
