An allen wrench, a screwdriver, and a set of pliers may be helpful when replacing this part. It will need to be replaced if it becomes broken. Removed disc and guard from the grinder.
Removed the arbor cover.
Removed the broken spring from the shaft.
Installed the new spring on the shaft.
Installed the new spiral bevel gear.
Applied grease to the gear housing.
Reassembled in reverse order.
