Removed blade from saw and back plate that keeps plastic guard in place. installed link thru cutout in upper guard and attached it to base of saw with phiilips screw spacer and washers. installed spring to upper guard in hole toward front of guard, installed spring on plastic lower guard and slipped guard into place. Link floats on plastic guard and has no mechanical fasteners on it. installed blade washer in back, blade, and front blade washer and blade bolt. Easy repair once you figure out where spring goes. Works great. Found parts cheaper at other vendors but they add a handling charge which ends up making their parts cost the same or more. Always had excellent service with ereplacement parts.

Saw blade guard, worn brushes

It was an easy repair simple logic and when you remove the old guard pay attention to how it came off so it would be easy to put on again.
To install the new brushes, just remove the brush caps with a screw driver , then remove the old brushes, then install the new ones and screw brush caps back on.
Not much to it!
It is nice to find the parts easily, order them and get it up and running again quickly. Much cheaper than a new saw.
