This is a genuine part that is supplied by the original manufacturer for use with Waring blenders. The washer is the first washer to go on the drive shaft to protect it from leaking and premature wear. Over time these seals and washers will become brittle and compressed, then will have to be replaced. This part is made out of strong canvas material and it is sold individually. To assist you in the installation, you will need a wrench.

Blenders (2) were leaking

I was able to change all the washers on one of the blenders to get it to stop leaking. I think I am missing a piece or two on the other one as it still leaked. I will need to get more parts.

My 60 year old Waring blender needed new washers in the blender jar

My husband removed the motor assembly with a socket wrench and took off the old washers and replaced them with the new ones we ordered. The blender works perfectly.
