Removed the old LED light. But the original wire was routed through the aluminum case. I altered the routing so that it now runs along the outside of the aluminum case. The voltage is three volts so it is not dangerous being outside the casing. This was MUCH easier to install compared to the original routing. Works fine now. Used original cable clamps but mounted them on the outside. This required drilling some holes and using sheet metal screws to hold the clamps in place on the outside of the aluminum case. Also altered the base to allow the wire to run along the outside of the case instead of inside the case. Minor change.
