25 years of neglect, and carbon/junk buildup fowling the spark plug, led to not starting.
Removed air filter, exhaust muffler and cover over pull cord assembly, and disconnected throttle cable at carburetor, then removed head and gasket. Cleaned head and reinstalled with new gasket. Installed new air filter and spark plug and put everything back together. Filled with fresh gas and it started right up on 6th pull, and ran like a champ. Still running good after 3 weeks.

  • Perfect fit. Motor runs cleaner and has more power
This is a part that is easy to forget about especially on old mowers. Years of use and cleaning cause the foam to break down and clog. My mower is almost 30 years old and the new air filter brought it back to life. Amazing.
