Arrived fast after it shipped but some of the more important parts did not fit the carburator and had to use the old ones not sure why they didnt fit i went by the numbers on the saw and got the kit for that serial number.

Wish the rebuild worked out
The Echo carb PB400E rebuild kit arrived quickly missing only one of two filter screens but the original second screen was reusable. Using a YouTube video, I disassembled the carb, cleaned it thoroughly, and reassembled. The blower started but died out shortly. I repeated disassembly, cleaning and reassembly but results were same.
To be fair it is possible I missed something.
I wanted to use genuine Echo parts which I figured were superior but since have bought a complete carb from China ($17.88 vs $20) and my blower started up and runs fine (so far!)

Removed carb. Disassembled cleaned and installed new parts included in kwik kit. Reinstalled carb with new gaskets.
Installed new air filter.
Installed new spark plug.
Started engine and adjusted carb mixture jets to so engine ran smooth at both idle and full throttle.
Blower run and works very well.

Removed the backpack assembly. Disconnected the fuel line. The blower assembly comes apart with a few screws enabling you to replace the lower isolators and install the new ones. The upper ones are just bolted on. The air cleaner assembly comes apart with rubber band like fasteners. The air cleaner in inside. The carb kit is for later, the spark plug will be used as needed. Nothing special required.
