The saw was dropped, and the sub fence was bent. I replaced it along with the fine adjust knob and assembly.

I removed the sub fence using a wrench and socket set. Replaced the defective part with the new one, and it was an easy repair.

Remove screw and bolt from broken fence, then install the new fence. Remove nut and washer from the shaft where the broken knob was. Then place the knob on the shaft and tighten the washer and nut on the shaft.
