Question: Drive Shaft

fyjimo

What is the difference between part B-7 on the type 1 & 2 string trimmers? Does part B-6 come with the flex shaft (part b-7 in it.
Hello fyjimo The Type 1 and Type II models rarely if ever differ in their major operating parts. The part numbers in the parts diagram list will verify this. The difference may be 1 or 2 small parts, if that. If this site has photos of your part, what is IN the photo is exactly what you receive if you order it. On a sidenote; I have seen machines with up to 6 Types. All of them looked the same and all the major operating parts were the same. Looking at the photo of the part, it appears the Kit-Housing Shaft does come with the flex shaft in it. The onsite, hands on warehouse guy (WJA) is out so far this week; maybe on vacation. We have seen this question posed before on here. I am mostly sure the flex drive is in the housing as you can see the end of it sticking out where you would screw the string head onto it. The brackets showing hold the plastic guard on.
