The nut holding the shoulder pin in place came free. This holds the blade flail in place. When it cam free it damaged the threads on the pin.
It not a difficult repair and is mostly an exercise in disassembly of the housing.

1.Remove all bolts holding the two halves of the housing together
2. Remove the chute by loosening three nuts
3. Move the fly wheel so the flail blade is aligned with the chute opening
4. Install the pin from the chute side and secure with the nut
5. Reassemble housing and secure the chute
