This is an original Milwaukee replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The intermediate gear is constructed of solid metal, and is compatible with many drill/driver tools. This item is secured between the needle bearing and the intermediate pinion. The intermediate gear has been designed to create reduction, giving more torque to the motor. This item is sold individually. A screwdriver is needed to replace the part.
